| AMO member Chief Engineer Roy Silliker was one of the officers and crew of the S/S Curtiss presented with a plaque by the Canadian National Defense for the ship’s outstanding support during Operation Byzantine, in which the Curtiss participated during the first two weeks of October near Vancouver, B.C., providing a training platform for Canadian military forces. |
