| The USNS Pomeroy recently conducted cargo load-out operations in Okinawa and Iwakuni, Japan, returning to Korea in February. This is the second time the ship has had the opportunity to work with the U.S. Marine Corps while assigned to prepositioning duty in Pacific Maritime Prepositioning Squadron 3. The USNS Pomeroy is one of eight large medium-speed roll-on/roll-off ships operated by Ocean Ships Inc. for MSC and manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers. |
