| The officers and crew of the USNS Soderman—the LMSR, operated for Military Sealift Command by Maersk Line Limited and manned in all licensed positions by AMO, this month worked with the Army’s 24th Battalion and associated battalions on a mini-JLOTS exercise (joint logistics over the sea). This was in preparation for an extended JLOTS exercise that the Army unit will be participating in on the West Coast later this year. AMO members in the photo include Capt. Michael Ross, Chief Mate Samaro Bannister, Second Officer Michael Vanderhorst, Third Officer Thomas Loreto Jr., Third Officer Jason Lake, Chief Engineer John Fleming Jr., First Assistant Engineer David Johnson, Second A.E.
