The USNS Algol left the port of Wilmington, N.C., in February and headed to Afghanistan carrying 66,000 square feet of U.S. Marine Corps cargo and more than 50 mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles for delivery to Iraq. The USNS Algol is a fast sealift ship manned in all licensed positions by AMO. |
