| AMO members working aboard the T.S. Empire State VI included Third Assistant Engineer Vijay Shanmugam and Second Mate Charles Noell. With them during the presentation of the U.S. Merchant Marine Medal for Outstanding Achievement Dec. 20 were Deputy Maritime Administrator Paul Jaenichen and AMO National Executive Vice President Robert Kiefer. The Empire State VI was being operated by TOTE Services, Inc. during the relief response. |
