| Five Military Sealift Command vessels, including the AMO-manned USNS LCPL Roy M. Wheat, recently participated in exercise Phoenix Express to prepare for potential threats in the Mediterranean Sea. American Maritime Officers members working aboard the USNS LCPL Roy M. Wheat during Phoenix Express 2012 included Third Mate Matt Drabenstot (left) and Captain Chris Begley, master on the USNS Wheat. The USNS Wheat is operated by Maersk Line, Limited in MSC's afloat prepositioning program and is manned in all licensed positions by AMO. |
