Practical exercises for week one include knowledge of sub-cooling and superheat, charging and recovery, troubleshooting and repair, and soldering and brazing. Simulation training for the course includes multiple troubleshooting faults. Practical exercises for week two include low and high refrigerant charge troubleshooting, mechanical refrigeration start-up and analysis, digital control operation, leak checking, and refrigerant circuit troubleshooting, in addition to course work and theory. |
