| The tug Legacy was built for Crowley Maritime at Dakota Creek Industries in Anacortes, Wash. The shipyard is building the three Legacy Class tug units, while the barge units are being built at VT Halter Marine, of Pascagoula, Miss. Crowley christened the ATB M/V Legacy Nov. 3. All ATBs in the Crowley Maritime fleet are operated under contract with the Seafarers International Union. AMO officers are sailing aboard the Legacy under a pass-through agreement with the SIU. |
