| American Maritime Officers members working aboard the Jones Act tanker Sunshine State in June, here in Pascagoula, Miss., included Chief Mate Chris Menezes, Chief Engineer Victor Mull, Chief Engineer Rohan Samuels and Capt. Stephen Foster, master of the M/T Sunshine State. The ship is one of three new State Class Jones Act tankers built by General Dynamics-NASSCO. Two more are nearing completion at the shipyard. The ships are operated by Crowley Liner Services for American Petroleum Tankers LLC and manned in all licensed positions by AMO. |
