The start date for the Towing Officer Assessment Record (TOAR) Course in February at STAR Center has been changed to Feb. 7, 2011. The course was originally scheduled for Feb. 21, and will no longer begin on that date.
The TOAR Course beginning Feb. 7 will be conducted in the evening, with class beginning at 4 p.m. (1600).
AMO members certified as U.S. Coast Guard designated examiners for towing officer assessment records who are interested in becoming involved with the program at STAR Center are asked to contact Director of Member Training and Officer Development Jerry Pannell at (800) 942-3220 ext. 7507 or via . Any questions regarding the TOAR Course should also be directed to Pannell.
