The U.S. Coast Guard has updated its port security advisory on security measures for vessels operating in areas deemed to be high risk for acts of piracy. In its update, Port Security Advisory (2-09)(Rev 2), the Coast Guard addresses security measures and recommendations for vessels transiting, operating, anchoring and berthing in high-risk waters.
