In keeping with what became official union policy in January 2007, deep-sea, Great Lakes and inland waters members of American Maritime Officers are reminded that they are welcome to participate as observers in all regularly scheduled concurrent meetings of the AMO National Executive Board and the AMO Plans Boards of Trustees.
The next meetings are scheduled in Chicago during the week of June 21-25, and I would prefer to have at least one AMO member observer from the deep-sea, Great Lakes and inland waters areas in attendance for what promises to be an interesting and important week of discussion and decision bearing directly on job and benefit security for all AMO families.
AMO members who wish to participate in these meetings are asked to contact Margie DeStefano via phone at (954) 243-0598 or for details. Space is limited, so please make the appropriate arrangements early.
