AMO members and applicants who need expedited Passport renewal should contact AMO Member Services

Members and applicants of American Maritime Officers who need an expedited renewal of their U.S. Passport should contact AMO Member Services to obtain the special U.S. State Department procedure and costs for mariners to obtain expedited Passport renewal.

Updated information from the U.S. Department of State was recently distributed to members and applicants of American Maritime Officers, including fee increases and the procedure for mariners seeking expedited Passport renewal.

As part of this process, mariners are required to include a letter from their union or their employer with their application package.

As a reminder, AMO members and applicants who need this letter from AMO for expedited Passport renewal, as well as specific information on the application process and required fees for mariners to obtain expedited Passport renewal, should contact AMO Member Services , or by phone during East Coast business hours at (800) 362-0513 Ext. 1050.
