USNS Bobo serves in Maritime Pre-Positioning Force exercise
U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, offload a rough terrain cargo handler 240 during Maritime Pre-Positioning Force Exercise (MPFEX) 23 on Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Florida, on February 9. MPFEX 23 is a military exercise allowing Marines and Sailors to work together offloading and processing military equipment from a single MPF ship, the USNS Bobo. The exercise is a rehearsal of the ability to conduct safe, efficient offloads while in a tactical environment to enhance the rapid and scalable deployment of naval expeditionary forces.
