Reminder on Passport renewal for mariners

Updated information from the U.S. Department of State was recently distributed to members and applicants of American Maritime Officers, including fee increases and the procedure for mariners seeking expedited Passport renewal.

As part of this process, mariners are required to include a letter from their union or their employer with their application package.

As a reminder, AMO members and applicants who need a letter from AMO for Passport renewal and/or detailed information on the application process and required fees can contact AMO Member Services .
