AMO Election of National Officers: Rank-and-file Credentials Committee continues work on report for 2022 AMO election

The report of the rank-and-file Credentials Committee for the 2022 AMO Election of National Officers will be posted online and distributed by email when the committee has completed its work. The Credentials Committee's report will also be published in the July edition of the AMO newspaper, American Maritime Officer.

The Credentials Committee has contacted and is awaiting responses from several nominees for elective office in the 2022 election regarding their individual nomination letters. Once these nominees have responded with the information required under Article XI of the AMO National Constitution, the Credentials Committee will be able to complete its report.

When complete, and as noted above, the report will be posted at the earliest opportunity on the AMO website and via AMO Currents, and will be sent by email to AMO members and applicants at their addresses on file with the union and to AMO-contracted vessels. The report will also be published in the July edition of American Maritime Officer.

American Maritime Officers members serving on the Credentials Committee are: Dan Picciolo (Chairman), Frank Celino, Glenn Macario, Mark Kerr, Alfredo Noriega, Chris Richards and Daniel Vich. The Credentials Committee is conducting its work in accordance with the requirements and timelines set forth in Article XI of the AMO National Constitution, which was mailed to AMO members and applicants with the March edition of American Maritime Officer and is available on the AMO website.
