Photos: Maersk Peary serves in Pacer Goose Sustainment 2021


American Maritime Officers members working aboard the Maersk Peary in August during Pacer Goose Sustainment 2021, an annual re-supply mission, included Captain Michele Laycock, Second Mate Sam Estes, Third Mate Matt Butler, Chief Mate Rob Grove and Deck Cadet Jacqueline Radcliff.

AMO members working aboard the Maersk Peary during Pacer Goose in August included Third Assistant Engineer Trevor Richards, Chief Engineer Garrett Long, First A.E. Paul Styx and Second A.E. Bryan Soucey. With them are Pumpman Rickey Yancey, QMED Rene Hallasgo and Wiper Alex Ruiz-Fernandez, who are members of the Seafarers International Union.

The Maersk Peary is escorted from Thule Air Base in Greenland, an Arctic outpost that is resupplied every year during the summer months when the ice breaks and allows for ships to complete the voyage.
