Maritime Administration: MSCI Alert 2021-002A - worldwide (for all air passengers entering the United States) - upcoming mariner travel requirements change
The following MSCI Alert was posted by the Maritime Administration. American Maritime Officers is working with contracted operating companies to help ensure AMO officers will be able to access testing or otherwise meet the requirements set forth in this policy established on January 12 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Description: Retransmittal of State Department COVID-19 Traveler Information dated January 12, 2021: "Effective January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers arriving in the United States (including U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents) to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three calendar days of departure, or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days."
