In September, Ditton set the world record for a woman rowing across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco to Honolulu, Hi. - completing the journey in just over 86 days. The Jean Anne was tasked with returning Ditton and her 21-foot boat back to San Diego. The Jean Anne is owned by Pasha Hawaii and is manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers.
