AMO membership meeting scheduled for August 3 canceled

The regular American Maritime Officers monthly membership meeting scheduled for August 3 at AMO headquarters in Dania Beach, Fla. has been canceled. If conditions and national, state and local requirements permit, the meeting will be rescheduled for later in the month of August.

As with previous meeting cancelations, the intent is to minimize the risk of coronavirus contagion among AMO members traveling to, participating in and returning to their homes or to their vessels after the meeting. As has been the case in the recent past, gatherings of more than 10 people remain prohibited under the most recent Broward County Emergency Order.

Official reports prepared for presentation to AMO members will be posted to the members-only section of the AMO website and their availability will be announced on AMO Currents.
