Photo: Deck cadets earn sea time aboard Ready Reserve Force ship Cape Washington

Cadet Lauren Bezecny from Texas A&M and Cadet Jaime Beebe from SUNY Maritime work aboard the Ready Reserve Force ship Cape Washington with American Maritime Officers member Chief Mate Alexandra Hagerty in July. As part of their work, the deck cadets led a training meeting on safety equipment and lifesaving appliances for the ship's crew, in addition to tracing various systems of the ship. The Cape Washington is operated for the Maritime Administration by Crowley Liner Services. AMO represents all licensed officers working aboard the ship.
