AMO Plans: Recent mailing regarding retirement funds may include incorrect first name on envelope; clerical error on mailing envelope will not affect participants' personal information or retirement accounts
A recent notice was mailed detailing fund changes that will be occurring in the American Maritime Officers 401(k) Plan, the American Maritime Officers Defined Contribution Plan and the American Maritime Officers Pension Plan MPB the week of January 20. Due to an administrative issue at the Newport Group mailing center in the preparation of the address file for the mailing, the first name shown on the envelope was incorrect. The contents of the envelope were generic in nature and part of a mailing to all members. We apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may have caused you. Please note that the notification was meant for and addressed to the participants who received them, and the error was a mismatch in the first name only. The notification did not contain any personal information.
As a result, to ensure receipt of this important material, Newport Group is resending the contents to you.
