Crew of USNS Pililaau recognized for service in Cobra Gold 2019

Military Sealift Command this month recognized the USNS Pililaau, which is operated for MSC by U.S. Marine Management Inc. and is manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers. The following was posted by MSC.

We're spotlighting the crew of Military Sealift Command's USNS PILILAAU (TAKR-304), which participated in the 38th annual Exercise Cobra Gold in the Kingdom of Thailand this February.

USNS PILILAAU, along with Combat Logistics Detachment 332, discharged more than 200 pieces of heavy equipment at Laem Chabang, and discharged multiple other pieces of equipment amphibiously in support of the exercise. The MPF supports on-demand equipment delivery for the USMC.
