Photos: Maritime, defense, transportation leaders discuss mission capabilities aboard RRF ship Wright
During a recent visit to the Ready Reserve Force ship S/S Wright in Philadelphia, maritime, defense and transportation leaders toured the vessel and discussed ship statistics and mission capabilities of the Wright, which was deployed to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, last year in a relief operation following Hurricane Maria and transitioned to offshore V-22 Osprey testing exercises with the U.S. Marine Corps while underway. Among those participating in the tour were Wright Chief Engineer Don Malozi; Alex Gray, special assistant to the President for the defense industrial base, White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy; Peter Navarro, assistant to the President for the defense industrial base, White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy; Maritime Administrator Rear Adm. Mark Buzby (U.S. Navy retired); and Crowley Senior Vice President Todd Busch.
