The ninth annual Women on the Water Conference was hosted by the Great Lakes Maritime Academy in partnership with the Maritime Administration. Cadets from all six state maritime academies and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, as well as Georgian Maritime College, were encouraged to participate. The conference provides cadets with opportunities to network and learn from professional mariners and representatives of maritime industry and labor.
