Hurricane Irma update - AMO, AMO Plans, STAR Center


Power and Internet service have been restored at American Maritime Officers Headquarters and essential personnel have returned to work at 601 S. Federal Highway. AMO deep-sea dispatchers will be working regular business hours the remainder of this week. AMO Headquarters will resume normal operations on Monday, September 18.

The AMO website and AMO Dispatching websites are online and the AMO union phone network is in operation.

E-mail service to AMO addresses (@amo-union.org) has been restored; however, messages sent between Sunday, September 10 and the morning of Wednesday, September 13 were not delivered and will need to be sent again.

AMO Plans and STAR Center

AMO Plans and STAR Center personnel are currently taking calls and responding to e-mail. Power has been restored to the campus, and the AMO Plans office and STAR Center will resume normal operations on Thursday, September 14 with regular business hours.

Scheduled classes at STAR Center will resume Monday, September 18.

The AMO Plans and STAR Center websites are online and e-mail service to AMO Plans addresses (@amoplans.com) and STAR Center addresses (@star-center.com) is available. However, any messages sent between Sunday, September 10 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 12 were not delivered and will need to be sent again.
