Hurricane Irma update - AMO, AMO Plans, STAR Center

American Maritime Officers Headquarters remains closed. The AMO website is currently offline and e-mail service to AMO addresses (@amo-union.org) remains unavailable. The AMO union phone network is currently unavailable.

AMO Plans and STAR Center

The AMO Plans office and STAR Center will re-open Wednesday, September 13 with limited resources. AMO Plans and STAR Center personnel will be taking calls and responding to e-mail; however, the campus at 2 West Dixie Highway remains closed to students, and is operating on generator power in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

The AMO Plans and STAR Center websites are back online and e-mail service to AMO Plans addresses (@amoplans.com) and STAR Center addresses (@star-center.com) is now available. However, any messages sent between Sunday, September 10 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 12 were not delivered and will need to be sent again.

AMO Plans participants in need of AMO Plans benefits can contact the following departments at (800) 348-6515:
  • For Medical Customer Service, dial extension 12
  • For Retirement Services (Pension, 401(k), MPB, and Defined Contribution), dial extension 14
  • For Vacation, dial extension 15
If you are inquiring about your monthly pension payment, all payments were distributed on September 7, whether by paper check or electronic deposit.
