On behalf of the American Maritime Officers National Executive Board, AMO representatives and AMO administrative support staff, I offer warm wishes for a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day to the seagoing men and women we are privileged to represent - may you enjoy your time with family and friends, and may you know how much we appreciate you as our union's ambassadors in domestic and international commercial trade and in military support services.
Our Thanksgiving thoughts go especially to AMO members and applicants for AMO membership at work aboard their vessels, away from home. We and the nation are grateful for your spirit and your sacrifice as this year's holiday season begins.
We are thankful to all of you - the seagoing professionals within our ranks - for bringing lasting credit to our union. American Maritime Officers is the best because you are the best at what you do - all day, everyday.
