STAR Center has added a one-week Advanced Stability class, which will start December 7. All eligible AMO members and applicants are welcome to submit an application to attend.
This course meets the new STCW 2010 deck management-level upgrade requirements under USCG NVIC 10-14 for advanced stability training and assessments.
In addition, this course meets the assessment requirements for the previous deck upgrade system in USCG policy letter 04-02 for control sheets M 9-1A through M 9-1D (which were covered in the previous system in Advanced Stability and Advanced Cargo courses). Members upgrading under these previous regulations are reminded they must complete their upgrade by December 31, 2016.
