American Maritime Officers member Captain Patrick Murphy, here aboard the USNS Pathfinder, on which he sailed as master, retired in December. Congratulating him is Captain Melvin Santos, master on the USNS Pathfinder. Participating in Captain Murphy's retirement ceremony were First Assistant Engineer Chipper Lee, Chief Engineer Mike Hadley, Second Mate Dave Witzke, Third Mate Chris Hulse, Radio Officer Eric Bodner and Third Assistant Engineer David Brewster. The USNS Pathfinder is operated by 3PSC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Maersk Line, Limited, and is manned in all licensed positions by AMO.
