Combined Maritime Forces report on piracy

The Combined Maritime Forces of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Nov. 17 reported on the hijacking of a large tanker with 25 crew onboard more than 450 miles southeast of Mombasa, Kenya. The report notes that, while the rate of successful pirate attacks off the Somali coast has decreased since August, the attack on the tanker indicates pirates' ability to adapt tactics and methods of attack.
