CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The Navy and Marine Corps Friday tested a new ship that could save the day during the next disaster.
The Navy and Marine Corps are working together on Exercise Pacific Horizon off the coast of Camp Pendleton, and Rear Adm. Frank Ponds said, "We are a joint team."

The USNS Montford Point is operated for Military Sealift Command by Ocean Ships, Inc. and is manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers.
