AMO secures across-the-board gains in new agreement with Port City Marine Services

American Maritime Officers has secured a new two-year agreement with Port City Marine Services covering the company's two articulated tug/barges - the Prentiss Brown/Conquest and the Bradshaw McKee/St. Marys Challenger. AMO represents all licensed officers working aboard both vessels.

"This is the first multi-year agreement we have achieved with this company, and it recognizes the good work of AMO members in this fleet," said AMO Senior National Assistant Vice President Brian Krus.

The new agreement, which was ratified by a majority vote of AMO members working in the company's fleet, provides across-the-board wage increases in each of the two years and includes all actuarially required increases in contributions to the AMO Plans.
