The Transportation Security Administration has announced the agency's "OneVisit" program is now available everywhere. Under this program, Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) cards can be mailed directly to an applicant's home address or other location, rather than applicants having to return to an enrollment center to pick up the card.
The TSA reported each TWIC card's preset personal identification number (PIN) will be sent in a separate mailing. If an applicant chooses to pick up a TWIC card at an enrollment center, he or she may select the PIN associated with the card, an option not available if it is delivered by mail.
The TSA has also announced TWIC enrollment centers are handling additional TSA programs and are now called "universal enrollment centers." The agency advised that signs directing people to a TWIC enrollment center now read "universal enrollment center."
These and other bulletins related to the TWIC program are available on the TSA website.
