As a reminder to American Maritime Officers members and applicants, current documents must be provided to AMO Member Services in order to ensure each member's ability to ship.
Documents AMO members and applicants need to provide to AMO Member Services (rather than the STAR Center Training Record System department) in order to keep their digital profiles with AMO Dispatching up to date include:
As noted, AMO members and applicants only need to provide documents related to training to STAR Center's Training Record System department. The documents listed above can directly affect an individual's ability to ship and need to be provided to and kept up to date with AMO Member Services.
AMO members and applicants with any questions regarding their individual digital profile can contact AMO Member Services by e-mail or by phone at: (800) 362-0513 ext. 1050.

AMO members: keeping your AMO Dispatching profile up to date

Documents AMO members and applicants need to provide to AMO Member Services (rather than the STAR Center Training Record System department) in order to keep their digital profiles with AMO Dispatching up to date include:
- Merchant Mariner Credential - every page of the document (this will account for the license, Merchant Mariner Document, STCW endorsement and any additional endorsements required to sail, such as vessel security)
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Passport
AMO Member ServicesIn order to remind AMO members and applicants of expired documents, or documents not currently on file, the AMO Dispatching website display highlights the appropriate fields in red after a member or applicant has logged into the site. Additionally, the following notation was added to each individual's profile display in the documentation section: "Please note that any items highlighted in RED above indicate expired documents and may affect your ability to ship. Please contact Member Services to update or correct this information. The email address is: . Only training documents and training related information should be sent to STAR Center."
