The Maritime Administration has invited maritime transportation system stakeholders and the public to participate in the National Maritime Strategy Symposium, to be held Jan. 14 to 16 at the Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the symposium is to gather ideas for improving the nation's cargo opportunities and sealift capacity while ensuring future sustainability. American Maritime Officers will be participating in the symposium. More information is available online in the Federal Register.
