American Maritime Officers has integrated the software and services of ZeeBORN Fleet Management Solutions into its online Career History, Assessment, Recruitment, Tracking (CHART) system for AMO members.
ZeeBORN is a leader in fleet management and manning software services throughout the international maritime industry, along with U.S. partner company ZeeBORN Inc. The integration of the ZeeBORN system with AMO’s recently launched CHART system will increase ease and efficiency for AMO members in providing and storing documents electronically for job opportunities in new markets, such as LNG shipping and shoreside positions with special requirements.
The ZeeBORN system uses information provided by AMO members through CHART, as well as electronic documents submitted using the ZeeBORN interface developed for AMO, to create a searchable database of AMO members who meet the required qualifications for a specific job.
“The integration of the ZeeBORN solution with our CHART and dispatching systems allows the union and the membership to easily provide needed information in the proper format to companies looking for highly-qualified mariners,” said AMO National President Tom Bethel. “This ZeeBORN system is already being used by several owner/operators. Working with the same electronic platform enhances AMO’s ability to match members with available opportunities and helps raise our professional profile in the industry."
To use the online system, AMO members will create a profile in the CHART system through the AMO Dispatching Web site at https://www.amodispatching.com.
