In the aftermath of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, American Maritime Officers is anticipating an increase in requests for financial assistance from the AMO Membership Assistance Program from AMO members and families living on the Gulf Coast.
AMO members and employees who are able are encouraged to contribute to the voluntary Membership Assistance Program to help support AMO members and families coping with damage to and flooding of their homes as a result of the hurricanes. Information about the voluntary MAP fund, making contributions and filing requests for assistance is available on the AMO Web site.
