STAR Center will be providing a three-day Serve-Safe training course in Toledo for full-time and relief stewards sailing on the Great Lakes. The course is scheduled for Feb. 21 to 23. The STAR Center training scholarship will be available to each steward who attends. AMO is also contacting stewards individually to coordinate enrollment.
All stewards are also being advised that STAR Center will provide Basic Safety Training in March, April and May for those who will require it for STCW qualification. The training will be conducted at STAR Center in Dania Beach, Fla. The STAR Center training scholarship will be available to each steward who attends.
