American Maritime Officers will hold an area informational meeting in Portland, Maine, Monday, Oct. 17 beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at:

All AMO members who are able are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the informative briefing on union business and AMO benefit plans, which will include an open floor for any and all questions and comments.
AMO schedules area informational meetings for the convenience AMO members who cannot easily attend regular monthly membership meetings at AMO Headquarters. Area informational meetings are scheduled based on demand and attendance will be gauged to determine the feasibility of holding future area meetings in specific locations.
AMO National President Tom Bethel, AMO National Vice President for Government Relations Michael Murphy and AMO Plans Executive Director Steve Nickerson will also be conducting a series of ship visits to provide onboard briefings for AMO members in various locations and to address any questions or concerns.
