The September edition of the AMO newspaper, American Maritime Officer, included a listing for a regular monthly membership meeting in October in Toledo, Ohio. However, consistent with changes to the AMO National Constitution approved by a unanimous vote of members attending the regular monthly membership meeting Sept. 6 at AMO Headquarters (a quorum was not achieved for the regular monthly membership meeting in Toledo scheduled for Sept. 7), the Toledo office is no longer an AMO constitutional port and regular monthly membership meetings will no longer be scheduled there. Regular monthly membership meetings will be held at AMO Headquarters.
