American Maritime Officers will participate in a commemoration of National Maritime Day Friday, May 20 in Galveston, Texas, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Texas Seaport Museum at Pier 22. The event is open to the public. The ceremony and wreath laying will take place at the Merchant Marine Memorial Plaque at the official tall ship of Texas, 1877 Barque ELISSA.
